Blessed with a melodious voice and impeccable musical skills, he has a magnetic stage presence and enthralls the audience with an exceptional performance. He is a fine Singer and an excellent exponent of the classical form of Indian music and his singing is true to the Indian Classical Music tradition of dialogue with the listeners, of impromptu creation and interactivity. Ghazals, being his forte, Mr.Sagar has tremendous emotional appeal and aesthetic sense and has an inherent aptitude for emotionally stirring music. His compositions are based on traditional ragas and he also sings compositions of Contemporary Poets and not only of better-known Masters such as Ghalib and Mir. His tonal grace and rhythmic elegance is equally visible in Khyals, Thumries, Taranas, Tappas, Dadra, Ghazals, Geets, Bhajans, and other forms of light music. He is not only an outstanding vocalist but also excels in other areas like composing and music direction.

Family and education
Kuldeep Sagar was born in Amla [Madhya Pradesh], India. He studied Science during (after matriculations) from Government College, Betul and went for graduation to Baraqatullah University, Bhopal [M.P.] in Arts stream. He also acquired a P.G. Degree in Hindi Literature from, Baraqatullah University; Bhopal [M.P.] His fathered was later reported to be happy with his son's achievements in the world of music. Initially, Kuldeep Sagar trained with his parents Shri G.R.Sagar and Smt.Sushila Devi, who was themselves, noted singers.
Qualifications
His association with music goes back to his childhood. He studied to get both Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in Hindustani Classical Music from the Indira Sangeet Mahavidhyalaya in Khairagarh, M.P. He also earned the titles/diplomas SANGEET PRAVEEN and SANGEET PRABHAKAR from the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. While there, inspired by his Singer and writer brother Shri Kamal Sagar, he also earned a SENIOR DIPLOMA in Sugam Sangeet [Geet, Ghazals and Bhajans]. His skills were further honed under the able guidance of the Late Sangeetacharaya Pandit Nand Kishore Sharma of the Gwalior Gharana, with whom he studied for seven years in Bhopal [M.P.]. He arrived in Delhi in 1997 in search of better opportunities as a career musician and singer. His early struggle in the music industry, though not too harsh by his own account, still had its share of trials and tribulations.
